Hi, I’m Brett Hammon

I’m a husband, I’m a Christian, and I’m a filmmaker based in Pittsburgh. I help businesses and nonprofits tell stories that make their work easier to understand.

My approach

The best part of the job is getting to know the people. Every organization has details an outsider would never notice on a first visit. The reason you started. The way your team solves a problem. The customer who can explain the difference your work made. I ask questions, listen for those details, and help turn them into a film with a clear purpose. My production and editing experience spans commercial projects, interviews, and documentary work.

Working together

You will know who is guiding your project. I am your point of contact for the story and creative direction. We agree on the scope, schedule, and deliverables before filming. If your production needs additional crew, I identify that in the proposal.

During interviews, I help you settle in and speak naturally. During editing, you have a clear opportunity to review the work and provide feedback. The goal is a finished film you feel confident sharing, with a clear understanding of where it belongs.

Location

I am based in Pittsburgh. And I work with organizations in the Pittsburgh area and travel for projects when the scope calls for it. Tell me where you need to film and I will account for that in the proposal.
