South Hills video production for local businesses and nonprofits

I'm Brett Hammon, a filmmaker based in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. I've been making videos for about 10 years and freelancing for about six and a half. I make brand films, short social videos, event films and training videos for businesses and nonprofits, and a lot of that work starts close to home. If you're in Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park, Upper St. Clair, Dormont, Castle Shannon, Peters Township or anywhere nearby, I'm a short drive away

Why work with a local filmmaker

You'll always know who's running your project. That's me. I'm your point of contact for the story and the creative direction, and I can film where you actually work: your office, your shop floor, your program site. If the job needs more crew, I'll say so in the proposal.

Start with the Video Pilot

Most local businesses and nonprofits don't need a huge production to get going. They need one good story and a steady supply of short videos. That's what the $3,500 Video Pilot is for: one planning call, up to five hours of filming, a 90-second to 3-minute film and six captioned short videos.

What I make

Who I've worked with

I've filmed and edited for brands like Milwaukee Tool, American Eagle, Aerie and Pret, and for Pittsburgh organizations like Young Life and Mecka Fitness.

Where I film

I'm based in the South Hills and work all over the Pittsburgh area:

  • South Hills: Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park, Upper St. Clair, Dormont, Castle Shannon, Baldwin, Whitehall, Brentwood

  • Just south and west: Peters Township, Canonsburg and Southpointe, South Fayette, Bridgeville, Carnegie

  • The rest of Pittsburgh: downtown, the North Hills, Cranberry, Sewickley, Moon, Robinson and the East End

Tell me where you need to film and I'll build that into the proposal.
