The $3,500 Video Pilot

One focused shoot. A main film. Six short videos.

A practical video package for Pittsburgh-area businesses and nonprofits that want to introduce their organization, explain a service, or share a story that helps people understand their work.

I handle the planning, filming, and editing. And help you put the finished videos to use.

Your campaign at a glance

  • One filming session: up to five hours at one location

  • One main film: 90 seconds–3 minutes

  • Six short videos: 7–30 seconds each

  • Captions, agreed formats, and a publishing plan

  • Two rounds of revisions

  • Complete first cuts within 14 calendar days after filming

$3,500 total • $1,750 to book • $1,750 after approval

What’s included

  • One planning call: We discuss your audience, your goals, and the story you want to tell. I prepare the interview questions and filming plan.

  • One filming session at one location: Up to five consecutive hours of filming at one agreed Pittsburgh-area location. I guide the interviews and capture supporting footage of your people, work, and surroundings. Additional filming sessions and locations are quoted separately.

  • One main film: A professionally edited film between 90 seconds and three minutes long. We choose the length based on what the story needs and where you plan to use it.

  • Six short videos: Six individual clips, each 7–30 seconds long, created from the footage captured during your shoot. These highlight useful moments, messages, or details from the main story.

  • Captions and agreed video formats: We identify where you plan to share the videos before filming and agree on the formats you need.

  • A practical publishing plan: You receive a suggested 30-day publishing schedule, guidance on where to use your videos, and a walkthrough of the finished assets. Your team handles posting; I help you understand what to share and where.

How to prepare

You do not need to write a script or know how to act on camera. Before filming, I’ll ask you to:

  • Join a planning call.

  • Share your logo, website, and any important brand guidelines.

  • Arrange access to the filming location.

  • Confirm that the people appearing in the videos are available and have agreed to participate.

  • Choose one person to gather feedback and approve the edits.

I prepare the questions, organize the filming plan, and guide you through the shoot. During interviews, we have a conversation—you do not need to memorize a speech.

When you’ll receive your videos

  • First cuts: within 14 calendar days after filming: You receive the edited main film and all six short videos to review. These first cuts let you see the complete campaign and request changes before final approval.

  • Revisions: within five business days of receiving each feedback round: Two rounds of revisions are included. Send one combined list of changes for the complete campaign in each round.

  • Final delivery: after approval and final payment: Once you approve the videos and the remaining balance is paid, I send the final downloadable files within two business days. These timelines assume the agreed materials and access are provided on time. Missing materials, delayed feedback, or changes to the project scope may move the schedule. If the timeline changes, I’ll explain the impact and confirm the revised dates with you.

Two rounds of revisions included

  • Revisions are your opportunity to refine the videos within the story and scope we agreed on.

  • Examples include adjusting the pacing, shortening a section, changing an available shot, or correcting on-screen text.

  • Each round consists of one combined feedback list covering the main film and six short videos. Please gather comments from everyone who needs to approve the project before sending that list.

  • New concepts, additional filming, extra videos, and revisions beyond the two included rounds are quoted separately before I proceed.

Investment and payment

Total project investment: $3,500

  • $1,750 upfront to reserve your filming date and begin planning.

  • $1,750 after you approve the videos, before delivery of the final downloadable files.

You can review the edits before paying the final balance.

Need something beyond the package?

  • Additional locations, filming sessions, crew, specialty equipment, and extra deliverables can be added through a separate quote.

  • Any necessary travel, permits, location fees, or paid talent will be discussed and quoted before booking.

  • Advertising spend, social media account management, raw footage, and editing project files are not included in this package.

See the work. Hear from clients.

  • Explore selected projects and hear clients describe what it was like to work with Brett Hammon Films.

This is an example of a Pilot Film, though this was slightly expanded to include a longer shoot and more short videos.

Who this is for

This package is a good fit if you want to:

  • Introduce your business or nonprofit.

  • Explain a product or service.

  • Share a customer’s experience.

  • Introduce the people behind your organization.

  • Help supporters understand your mission.

We choose one primary story and audience so the finished videos have a clear purpose.
